sdb3和sda1同时坏了,这种几率太小了,平生第一次碰到。好在都坏的不彻底,于是先把sda1修复,然后换掉sdb,然后Rebuild RAID,Rebuild完成之后再换掉sda。整个过程预计要花48小时,在此期间VPS的性能会下降一些,实在抱歉。

瑞豪开源的客户中心的地址从以前的https://rashost.com/client变更为新的 http://my.rashost.com

另外,每个人的推荐链接的地址也跟着变化了,比如以前的推荐链接https://rashost.com/client/aff.php?aff=194变化为现在的 http://my.rashost.com/aff.php?aff=194 ,请注意以前是用的https,现在是http。

关于中国联通到美国cogent线路VPS网络慢的问题

从2010年某个时候开始,中国联通的用户访问美国cogent线路的vps效果变的很差,经常出现ping丢包的情况。

在中国联通访问出问题的时候,中国电信和世界各地其他地方访问是非常快的,从测试网站 http://internetsupervision.comhttp://www.webkaka.com/WebCheck.aspx 测试也没有问题。这个问题应该是中国联通国际出口的问题,和cogent接口的问题。

这个问题会持续多长时间?这个取决于中国联通,我们无能为力,或许在某个时候,中国联通访问美国cogent会变的快起来。

Debian Linux是一个非常方便的Linux发行版。Debian 6.0 (Squeeze)已经于2011年2月6日(农历正月初三)发布了。经过几天的测试,瑞豪开源今天正式推出Debian 6.0 (Squeeze) VPS。

Debian 6 VPS采用2.6.32的内核,32位的系统启动后仅占用7M内存,是占用内存最小的VPS。瑞豪开源强烈建议熟悉Linux技术的客户使用Debian 6 VPS,apt-get非常灵活,方便。

x124服务器换硬盘,VPS未中断

今天有客户反映有VPS非常慢,检查发现是x124物理服务器的一块硬盘有故障,RAID已经是单硬盘在运行,Linux日志报告sdb不支持SMART:

于是拔出sdb,换了一块新硬盘,重建RAID。硬盘都是热插拔的,整个过程服务器没有中断,服务器上所有的VPS都没有中断,正常运行。RAID重建需要几十个小时,在此过程中VPS可能会感觉IO比较慢,RAID重建完成就好了。

x402断网一个小时

硅谷机房的x402服务器在2011/2/4晚上7点出现网络故障,这个服务器上面的所有VPS ping起来都没有任何反映。马上联系机房,机房说是机房的网络问题,服务器没有任何问题。到晚上8点,网络恢复,x402服务器上上面的所有vps都正常了。关于这个事故,机房还没有给出解释。

关于VPS被攻击

做网站有可能会被攻击,虽然这个可能性很小,但还是存在的。无论是VPS,虚拟主机还是独立服务器,都有可能会被攻击。

VPS等网站被攻击的原因,基本上都和网站内容有关系,比如私服,赌博之类的网站被攻击的可能性就比较大。而一般的网站,是极少被攻击的。

对于一般的攻击,我们机房可以抵挡。对于比较大型的DDOS攻击,机房无法抵挡,机房只能把被攻击的IP给封掉。大型的DDOS会发起非常大的流量涌向机房,把机房的整个入口给淹没掉,这时会导致机房里所有的VPS都无法和外界通信。这时候如果仅仅停掉被攻击的VPS或者服务器,是没法化解机房入口拥堵的流量的,必须把被攻击的IP从路由器上做空,这样相当于对外界广播:“此IP现在已经不在我们机房”,这样攻击的流量就不会被路由到机房的入口,机房就恢复正常了。

为了给各位vps客户提供更加稳定的网络,必须要杜绝或者最大限度减少被大型DDOS攻击的可能性。所以机房决定,如果被大型DDOS攻击,将封IP至少24小时,24小时后客户申请解封IP。给机房其他客户造成损失的,罚款150元。请大家理解。
